Q: Hi Nicole, I first want to express my appreciation for your guidence. What a gift you are offering all of us Hybrid Moms. I am a health and wellness educator and a distributor for Shaklee. I use the products and share the goodness with others. Where things haven't taken off with is having others see the opportunity to share with others and the benefits of building a business even at least to get the products for free or at least reduced costs. I really hate to quit or give up. I am passionate about the products and the company that is trying to help others to live healthier and more independent lives. Do you have any ideas on how I can network with others who will see the benefits as I do? I am a teacher by trade and chose to stay home with our children....thinking back probably not the best decision.....I see my Shaklee business as giving me back my earning potential at least in retirement. Thank you for the appreciation. I commend you for making the decision to stay home with your children. It's not an easy job and the return can take decades to realize. Since I stepped down as president of BabyLegs I've been home with my daughter again. She's in kindergarten all day, and I do love the time with her, however it can be hard to get all the work done in 5 hrs that I want to do.

A huge advantage that us ladies with children have is the network of our children. Get involved in local mom groups, online groups and forums, their school, make some play dates. Find the other healthy mommies in your hood and you've got new friends that will probably be interested in what you do. Surround yourself with people that have the same values and passions and you'll all have a good time.

Tip:
Get social where your customers are and lead by example, be healthy and fit, they will want that too. Share your wisdom, ask others where they get their information about health and nutrition. Start a conversation or put yourself into a relevant conversation, the more places you are the greater the chance that you will become recognized for your expertise on the topic and you will be a trusted resource for what you are selling.
